To celebrate the 15 years of Barcelona-based Acadèmia Altimira, the owners of the academy commissioned studio Masquespacio to create a new uniform identity for the school by redesigning interiors and branding.

During the redesign of Acadèmia Altimira, that teaches English classes to different age groups, Masquespacio looked to create an image that could appeal all school’s target, little kids, teens and young twentysomethings through a young design with actual colors and materials. The main element of the interior is a three-quarter height plywood walls with the aim to make the most from the little natural light that enters into the academy, besides offering acoustic solutions for the classrooms. A special area was added to the school, a ‘Face to Face’ space to offer one to one classes for the students, besides a study area.

The new design is a colorful, vibrant and inspiring project for a modern school, where ‘kids’ could learn while enjoying a friendly space.
