The Brioso series by Duravit enables many combinations for a customized bathroom, offering a tech touch and a good quality/price ratio
The new bathroom furniture series Brioso, designed by Christian Werner for Duravit, will be an absolute novelty at the International Bathroom Exhibition 2018. Its name is not fortuitous: it describes the light and dynamic spirit of the project, characterized by the slim side panels of the furniture and by mirrored surfaces.
Many different configurations and material combinations are available choosing among 15 finishes (bi-laminated, wood veneers, satin or glossy varnishes). For example, handles and feet can be the same color as furniture to convey an idea of harmonious compactness, while, for those interested in contrasts, it is possible to have the same details in the chromed version, associated with elegant wood veneers. They can also be combined with trendy colors such as matt light blue, concrete grey or the textile effect of linen.
A fundamental aspect is that Brioso can be combined with different sanitary ware series by Duravit such as Vero Air, P3 Comforts, Me by Starck, Starck 3 and D-code. An extraordinary effect is produced by the c-bonded combination of the Vero Air washbasin and the Brioso base that can be joined with no visible transitions, blending into a single unit, thanks to a patented process.
Washbasin units are available in 5 different widths (from 40 to 130 cm) to create also semi-open and asymmetrical furniture. Moreover, Brioso uses Duravit’s universal console program (3 or 4.5 cm thick, available in different widths and two depths), that can be combined with wall-mounted units (from 30 to 80 cm wide) and washbasin cabinets (from 62 to 100 cm). It also offers the alternative choices of a draw-out element or two drawers. Both high and low columns (42 or 52 cm wide) are spacious.
There is also a technological touch: mirrors are equipped with a LED bar on top; the lighting of the washbasin, the dimmer function and the mirror’s anti-fog system can be enabled by means of a sensor, requiring no contact. All these peculiarities contribute to the innovative character of the Brioso series that can also boast an interesting quality/price ratio among its charms.
