Dowel Jones is a design brand operating out of Melbourne that was started in 2013 by Dale Hardiman and Adam Lynch. The studio is interested in simplifying objects to their bare essentials without compromising on aesthetic values while also minimising materials and processes, working with manufacturers involved in the development of everyday materials and objects.

Thimble Family’: low-slung Thimble and its taller sibling, 1/5 Thimble, are simple, smart, stackable stools designed to enhance contemporary settings indoors and out

Developed for Woodmark, King Dome is a series of simple spun metal and rod lights available in 3 variations.

Versatile in it’s application, King Dome focuses on silhouette and intersecting line with the thin metal structure creating grid like formations within spaces. Bradley Hooper is a range comprising a coffee table, side table and stool. Each piece is made up of concentric rings based on the shape of a basketball hoop.  [Annamaria Maffina]
