A unique dispenser characterized by a sense of constant motion.

On the occasion of the upcoming Salone del Mobile of Milan, OTHR will present Cloth, the dispenser designed by Venice native Luca Nichetto, who began his career as a Murano-based glass maker. Cloth is an elegant porcelain object, a streamlined, multi-use form that acts as oil jug, creamer or soy sauce dispenser. The concept for Cloth began with the idea of fusing an oil jug’s spout with its body. Only possible through 3D printing, its shape creates a seamless connection between spout and container. The form acts as a porcelain cloth, draped around the liquid it dispenses. So, their process includes a combination of 3d fabrication and hand finishing: the result are angles and lines that impart a sense of constant motion and make this object unique. It is available both with (matte black porcelain/steel) or without (matte black porcelain) lid. Cloth is a numbered-edition, so once you make a purchase, your item will be individually produced and will be uniquely numbered to reflect your participation in its creation.
