FROM THE MEETING BETWEEN THAI CRAFTSMANSHIP AND ITALIAN DESIGN A, SERIES OF HIGH END ITERNATIONAL PRODUCTS WAS DEVELOPED

Host & Homewas conceived in 2015 for the hospitality sector and, after Big Bangkok and Maison & Objet, it makes landfall at the International Furniture Fair in Milan. The project is sponsored by DITP (Department of International Trade Promotion), a brand covering a group of Thai manufacturing companies active in the hospitality and residential sector, managed and coordinated by a team of Italian professionals, who specialize in interior design, marketing, and project management.

During the Milano Salone, Host&Home presented a complete project for high-end contemporary living, a collection which is the result of the blend of exquisite craftsmanship, refined Thai manufacturing and Italian design. The collection is based on the partnership of 22 Thai manufacturing companies and includes bookshelves, tables, beds, padded furniture, seats, textiles, home accessories and much other.

Thailand is known throughout the world for its extraordinary furniture creations resulting from the skillful use of fine wood, such as solid teak, oak or bamboo, the weaving of various natural fibers, and accessories made from hand-painted ceramic, blown glass, and fabrics mixing cotton with lotus, piña, and kapok fibers. Over half of Thai furniture production uses wood originating largely from rubber tree (Hevea) plantations, managed in accordance with sustainability criteria. Other woods, such as local teak, or imported wood such as oak, beech wood, birch, and mahogany, come from certified sources. The combination of craft tradition and technological progress ensures that “Made in Thailand” is a guarantee of quality and design with an international flavor. With its ability to create customized products and supply comprehensive project management services, Host & Home provides international hospitality markets with a professional and competent partner for architects, interior designers, and contractors. Contemporary design, quality services, and fine Thai craftsmanship are at the service of project development within the hotel and residential fields.
