FABIEN DUMAS DESIGNS FOR B.LUX THE A_FOREST COLLECTION OF LAMPS, INSPIRED BY THE STUNNING NATURE OF POLYNESIA

B.Lux, a manufacturer of designer lamps since 1980, located in Gizaburuaga (Bizkaia), in the Basque Country, launched a new and engaging lighting collection named a_Forest.

The creative project has been entrusted to Fabien Dumas, a Berlin-based product designer born in Martinique and grown in Tahiti, who developed products for the worldwide renown Ingo Maurer, Marset, DARK DH PH and Vertigo, as well as founder of the studio TooManyDesigners.

In designing a_Forest Fabien Dumas was inspired by the natural beauty of the Polynesian islands in which he spent his childhood. The islands’ abundance of fragrances, sinuous and natural forms, as well as their explosion of colours, characterise this new B.lux collection of lamps for both homes and contract projects.

The a_Forest lamps share a common, petal-shaped lighting element which, in the case of the wall version, emits indirect light. The suspension model is available in two versions: horizontal (SH) and vertical (SV). All of them are made of PUR, equipped with high-luminance LED bulbs, and available in matte white, salmon or turquoise finishes.
