A MINI LOFT IN HONG-KONG LIT BY THE BEAUTIFUL B LIGHT’S LUMINARIES
The mini loft of the architect Nelson Chow Chi-wai, sited in the forest hillside of Kowloon, Hong Kong, is a blend of functionality and excellent design.
The residential unit is inspired by natural light and the lush hillside characterizing the area. The house includes a living area, kitchen and bathroom.
The distinctive feature of the project is the lighting system curated by B Light, which adds harmony to the space, giving it a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. KUBO, for instance, that was chosen for the living area, is characterized by an essential design. It includes two models – Kubo 54 and Kubo 54 CL.
Kubo 54 CL is an architectural ceiling or wall luminaire, while Kubo 54 UP is adjustable 350° on both the horizontal and vertical plane.
In the dining room, it was arranged the INSERTO MEDIUM 65 CL. Linear form, pure light, modularity, dimmability and high lighting potentialities are the main features of this surface mounted luminaire.
Clean, uncluttered lines, natural materials like wood and stone, design furnishings and accessories: a perfect mix between urban style and functionality, always enhancing the lush green outside.
A combination of design, essential shapes and high performance. For the mini loft of Chow Chi-wai B Light has been able to realize a project that perfectly reflects the architect’s desire. Light not only translates love for clean lines and minimal design, but also exalts in a flexible way the continuity of indoor and outdoor environments.
