Dektonclay is a new project designed by Apparatu, showing the versatility of the ultra-compact Dekton® surface. This project (the image in evidence) is the result of the collaboration started three years ago between the Cosentino Group and the ceramic atelier and Spanish design studio of Xavier Mañosa. Attracted by the idea of using the same material in every part of the kitchen, Mañosa presents a collection of tableware, furnishings and a kitchen. The burners, the kitchen worktop, the structure and the handles were made of Dekton®, shaping, pressing, extruding, inflaming and pushing the malleability of the material with different artisan processes, all made with the simple but decisive force of the fire coming from the stove.

Cosentino and Riva 1920 present the Madera Meets Dekton® project, created by designer Daniel Germani. This is a special sideboard (length: 2.5m; height: 0.7m; depth: 0.46m), with a structure consisting of a frame made of the ultra-compact Dekton® surface in elegant shiny black Spectra XGloss. The structure is then wrapped by two organic pieces of solid American walnut carved to perfection by master carpenters of Riva 1920. Natural-based oils and waxes were used to finish the wood. The sideboard joints, integrated with the drawers, have been made with a handmade dovetail joint that joins the two pieces thanks to the pressure.
