Nathalie by Flou, one of the most popular and successful textile beds, turns 40 in 2018 and celebrates them with a series of events. Designed by Vico Magistretti in 1978, the Nathalie bed marked also the beginning of a long-lasting collaboration between Rosario Messina, founder of Flou, and the Milanese architect, author of many of the projects which marked the history of contemporary Italian design.

Today Nathalie is also a book, Nathalie 40, which tells the story of Italy over the last 40 years, alongside the story of Flou, a company born from the vision of a first-class entrepreneur, which became a reference point in the culture of contemporary sleeping. The history of Italian design and the furniture industry thus became the ideal setting for the history of Nathalie Flou, the bed which is still marked by the “perfect bow”.
