Working on the exhibition provided the occasion for SaloneSatellite to critically review the projects presented during different editions, enhancing and rediscovering them to allow visitors to understand the creative background of contemporary design.

The new training center is located in Lentate sul Seveso since Brianza represents one of the most important local production systems in Italy. And Lombardy is a leading region in the wood and furnishing industry, representing the 25% of the country’s industry. The province of Monza e Brianza leads the way: the numbers provided by Centro Studi FederlegnoArredo reveal that, with 1,555 companies, 10,028 employees and 1,8 billion euro revenue, it is the Italian district with the highest number of companies working in this sector. It leads the industry generating almost 40% of the total turnover of the region, whose productive fabric consists of many small workshops and few big factories. [Text Laura Galimberti]
