Circolo della Vela Sicilia, founded in Palermo in 1933, one of the oldest and best known sailing clubs in the Mediterranean, has been chosen again by Luna Rossa Challenge to get ready for the next edition of the America’s Cup and the Prada Cup qualifiers, the new name of the Challenger Selection Series beginning in January 2019.

As guests of the first edition of Festival dello Sport, organized by the Trentino region and sports newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, in Trento, supported by Coni, Bertelli and part of his team presented the innovative, aerodynamic, super fast, single hull boats, a new challenge in naval architecture and aerospace science, equipped with foil to fly almost one meter high over water and soft sails to travel at 49 knots, over 70 km/h.
