Bulgari Resort & Residences in Dubai by studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel combines Italian-style architecture and design with Middle Eastern patterns

Bulgari & Residences in Dubai is the latest in the series of Bulgari luxury hotels designed by studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. With its 101 bedrooms and suites; 20 villas with sea-views, private swimming pool and garden; bar, beach club, outdoor swimming pool, spa and starred restaurant, it represents a sort of urban resort, for both tourists and locals, from where it is possible to enjoy the best view of the city.

This is a uniquely magnificent project, starting from the exclusive man-made seahorse-shaped island of Jameirah Bay where it sits, connected to the center of Dubai via a 300 m long bridge. There is no other complex of this kind: 158,000 sq m host a resort, six residential buildings with 173 apartments, 15 villas and an authentic private marina.

Surrounded by the charming Mediterranean atmosphere reproduced by the architects thanks to lush gardens and typically Italian plants, the resort blends contemporary design and architecture with typically Middle Eastern details such as the coral-like brise soleils, a tribute to the ocean and the Arabian tradition of sunscreens.
