Bright Potato designs and creates objects in which a poetic and aesthetic vein stand out alongside with functionality, utilizing the tangibility of materials, colors, textures and shape. The name of the studio – Bright Potato – is a creative and original expression of the two designers, aimed to emphasize their approach, both creative and original, towards design, the culture that permeates it and, in general, towards life. They work in different fields, from furniture to product, from lighting to installations.

Composed of lines and angles, almost deceptive, ArNO – acronym of the Argon, Nitrogen and Oxygen elements – is a metal wireframe chair that symbolically portrays the invisible connections intertwined by social interactions just like the mixing of the elements that make up the air in our atmosphere. Light for the weight and for a linear and minimal but at the same time sturdy look, ArNO is elegant and charismatic, able to combine form and functionality in a stackable seat, perfect for the outdoors.

A lighting installation characterized by an expressive sculptural dynamic… Named after the geological phenomenon of stalactites, limestone formations hanging from the top of the caves: in this case, the ‘artificial and luminous stalactites’’ of the installation symbolize the process of hand-crafting glass blown. Each tubular element in hand-blown glass contains two LED light sources, a sphere of light floating at the top of the tube and a projector at the base that increases the effect of light reflection in a delicate shade that runs through the glass itself.
