223 works selected by Barcelona International Biennial of Landscape Architecture are on show at the Museo del Paesaggio in Verbania

In Verbania (Italy) the Museo del Paesaggio hosts until 6 January 2019 the projects that participated in the 10th Barcelona International Biennial of Landscape Architecture

Thanks to the multimedia exhibition, it is possible to enjoy all the projects presented in Barcelona from 26 to 29 September 2018. The path unfolds among the rooms of the museum through six discovery stages presenting the 223 selected works, divided into four display categories – articulation, transition, regeneration, intersection – in addition to the projects submitted by the students of 68 international universities.

Twenty years after its debut, Barcelona International Biennial of Landscape Architecture confirms its sensitivity to contemporary issues, as shown by the title chosen for the latest edition – ‘Performative Nature’ – which invites us to model our future habitats to respond to today’s big challenges, such as climate change, the proliferation of intolerance and the vulnerability of public spaces.

The 10 finalists of the Biennial were selected on the basis of considerations relating to the aesthetic component, the international relevance, the ability to activate or catalyze further transformations, the ecological and social value, the promotion of a global dimension going beyond the local dimension.
