New York: Times Square Becomes a Design Hub

Design Pavilion will be back from 10 to 22 May during NYCxDESIGN

From 10 to 22 May 2019, Times Square, the heart of New York, will host, for the fourth year in a row, Design Pavilion, a project presenting several installations, exhibitions, talks and performances, during NYCxDesign 2019, New York’s design week, which will be back with a new edition.

For NYCxDesign, the annual event that takes play in May, New York attracts design enthusiasts and professionals from all over the world.

Times Square alone is expected to be visited by 5 million people. Design Pavilion offers each year a curated program of temporary interactive structures and spaces that highlight the potential of design and architecture.

The event, free and open to the public, takes place across five areas between the 42nd and the 47th street.

The area of Design Pavilion also hosts the “Design Market NYC” featuring the American Design Club, a platform for brands and designers to show, share and sell their work in several pop-up stores. [Cristina Provenzano]
