#Designgoeson: furniture and design trade shows in Italy and worldwide have been rescheduled, some in 2020, others in 2021

The Covid-19 health emergency has forced furniture and design trade shows around the world to revise their plans. At the beginning of the emergency, it still seemed possible to simply postpone the dates by a few months, but later it became clear that it would take several months to hold a public event, even small ones, like trade fairs. Therefore, many fairs had to be postponed until 2021. There is still some hope only for the fairs that could be postponed until the end of the year and for Chinese fairs, since China is ahead in the recovery from the emergency.

Salone del Mobile.Milano and Fuorisalone

At first, the busiest design fair in the world, the Salone del Mobile di Milano, tried to hold the 2020 edition, postponing it until June. Unfortunately, the continuing emergency made it impossible and, at the beginning of April, it was decided to postpone it until 2021. Therefore, the exhibition will be held in Milan, from 13 to 18 April 2021, for a very special edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano. As an extraordinary event, in 2021 there will be the Salone del Mobile, S Project, SaloneSatellite, and all the biennial exhibitions – International Bathroom Exhibition, Eurocucina, Euroluce, Workplace 3.0. At present, Salone del Mobile.Milano Moscow, from 7 to 10 October 2020, and Salone del Mobile.Milano Shanghai, in November, are confirmed.

Just like the Salone del Mobile.Milano, also the Fuorisalone and the event organized by DDN, DDNHUB, will be held in 2021.
