A jury of professionals from around the world will assign the prizes of the IFI GAP – Global Awards Program

IFI – International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers have announced the jury members for the 2021 edition of the Global Awards Program (IFI GAP). It includes renowned interior architects/designers, media representatives and authoritative opinion leaders. Hailing from around the world, they reflect IFI’s global scope.


IFI GAP recognizes and awards design excellence at a world level, thanks to a jury representing major design institutions. IFI GAP annual awards include the IFI Prize, the highest honor, and IFI DJA, Design Journalism Award. Both recognize the exemplary contribution of professionals in strengthening and progressing interior architecture/design. The IFI Design Distinction Awards, IFI DDA, recognize excellence in interior architecture/design in the following categories: Habitat, Commerce, Health, Stay, Learning, Humanitarian, Sustainability, Student Play, Work.

The jury of IFI GAP

The winners of the IFI Design Distinction Awards (IFI DDA) are selected by Steve Leung, President of IFI/Founder of Steve Leung Design Group, Jury Chair; Soo K. Chan, SCDA Architects, Singapore; Randy Howder, Gensler, USA; Marcio Kogan and Renata Furlanetto, Studio MK27, Brazil; Amanda Stanaway, Workplace Interiors, Woods Bagot, Australia; Paul Tange, Tange Associates, Japan; Adam Tihany, Tihany Design, USA; George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, Yabu Pushelberg, Canada; Woody Yao, Director of Zaha Hadid Design, UK. Media jurors are Sarah Douglas, Editor-in-Chief for Wallpaper* (UK), Paul Keskeys, Content Director at Architizer (USA), Jessica Ma, Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Designwire (China).

All the awards, for interior architecture/design and design journalism, will be announced at a special ceremony as part of the 2021 IFI CONGRESS held in November in São Paulo.

The deadline for project entries to the IFI Global Awards Program is Tuesday, August 31, 2021.
