The Supersalone 2021 will host an exhibition dedicated to self-producing designers from all over the world
The Supersalone, the special event organized by the Salone del Mobile.Milano, will take place in less than two months, 5-10 September 2021. Curated by Stefano Boeri, the Supersalone will host production companies, makers, and cultural meetings. A great event, open to the public, with new exhibition methods. For production companies, it will be an opportunity to show to the public the products developed over the last 18 months.
In addition to the areas dedicated to the display of products, the layout of the Supersalone 2021, in the pavilions of Rho-Fieramilano, will include thematic itineraries dedicated to other sectors of Italian production. Some food courts, in collaboration with Identità Golose – The International Chef Congress, will flank lounges reserved for business meetings and other areas dedicated to young students from design schools. Finally, ADI-Associazione per il Disegno Industriale will organize an exhibition of chairs awarded with the Compasso d’Oro.

Supersalone 2021: The Makers Show
The Makers Show is the section of the Supersalone dedicated to self-producing designers from all over the world. Ateliers, studios, workshops and start-ups that combine design with experimentation, new production techniques and material research to self-produce their ideas. Each maker will be able to present only one product to offer a full picture of the state of the art of independent design and creativity for living spaces.
The Makers Show is an integral part of the Supersalone, organized by the Salone del Mobile.Milano from 5 to 10 September 2021. The event will be curated by Stefano Boeri and a team of international designers, architects and curators – Andrea Caputo, Maria Cristina Didero, Anniina Koivu, Lukas Wegwerth, Marco Ferrari and Elisa Pasqual from Studio Folder.

Supersalone 2021, the special event by the Salone del Mobile.Milano, will be held in the Rho-Fieramilano premises as usual, and will have the Triennale as its reference in the city, with other exhibitions and special initiatives.
