Lapis, porcelain stoneware mosaic by Appiani

Appiani presents Lapis, the antibacterial stoneware mosaic that looks like natural stone

Lapis is the latest porcelain stoneware collection by Appiani, a brand of the Bardelli group. The Lapis collection is the result of the collaboration between Appiani and Studio METCO, which specializes in products for the coloring and treatment of ceramic surfaces. The most recent innovation is the Appiani Bio Shield+ finish, which makes ceramic surfaces antibacterial and stain resistant, thanks to the inclusion of silver ions in the material. Moreover, the special additive makes the surfaces resistant to mold and mildew, making them particularly suitable for bathroom and spa environments.

The Lapis collection of porcelain stoneware mosaic looks very similar to natural stone, but has decidedly better characteristics. First of all, the surface does not absorb water, so it is ideal for areas with a high level of humidity such as wellness areas or swimming pools. Moreover, its processing makes it possible to obtain a porcelain stoneware mosaic that recalls natural stone, both in color and texture, which generates a pleasant natural feel.

The innovation of this product also improves its performance. Although the surface structure is similar to the texture of stone, Lapis mosaic has a more homogeneous surface, which retains much less dirt and dust. All these features make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
