Orgatec, the biennial trade fair for office and contract furniture, launches the first edition of Orgatec Tokyo

The first edition of Orgatec Tokyo, a spin-off of Orgatec, the biennial office and contract furniture show held in Cologne in October, will be held in Japan from 26 to 28April 2022. About six weeks before Orgatec Tokyo opens its doors, the entire exhibition space at Tokyo Big Sight reserved for Orgatec Tokyo is already sold out. Well-known brands such as Kokuyo, Okamura, Itoki, Uchida, Plus, Karimoku, Knoll, Wilkhahn, USM, UniFor, Kvadrat, Arper, Cassina e Häfele have already confirmed their presence.

The Asian office furniture market is booming; companies are investing in higher quality furniture, both in design and function. And the demand for modern equipment and technology is also growing. Japan alone accounts for more than 50% of both production and sales of the total office furniture market in the Asia-Pacific area (excluding China and India). Moreover, forecasts say that this market will grow by 3.7% per year until 2025.

Orgatec Tokyo, the first trade fair of its kind in Japan, will be focusing on professional and hybrid working environments.
