Mo.1950 opens a new concept store in Milan with the brands Olivieri, Frag and Carpet Edition
Mo.1950 has just opened a new concept store in the heart of Milan, Via Carducci 38. The new space, designed by Matteo Lualdi from lualdimeraldi studio, focuses on the experience of living and showcases furnishing systems by Frag and Oliveri, with the technical contribution of Carpet Edition.
Mo.1950 is one of the best-known companies in the furniture sector: it offers furnishing and interior design consultancy, also on a turnkey basis, to architects, designers and design enthusiasts, as well as customized design solutions.

The new Mo.1950 store: an Italian way of living
After the showroom on via Molino delle Armi, Milan, Matteo Lualdi has designed also the concept store on via Carducci. The eight large windows of the showroom reproduce an elegant and exclusive home. There, Made in Italy furniture is enhanced by a delicate styling that emphasizes the distinctive features of each brand.
Forms, finishes and color palettes of warm and refined tones create harmony and balance in every space. The home environments reproduced in the store are all functional to daily living. Many of the furnishings and accessories are made to measure, highlighting the special expertise of each brand in furnishing the different rooms of the house.

The furnishings on display in the new Mo.1950 store on Via Carducci, Milan, are from Italian companies known for their great manufacturing quality and their knowledge of furnishing trends.
Olivieri, a Rimini-based company specializing in customizable furniture systems, boasts almost a century of experience in the world of craftsmanship, carpentry and, later, industrial production. Olivieri’s collections stand out for their refined design; moreover, the catalog of materials and finishes to choose from is particularly rich.
Frag produces chairs, armchairs, tables and furniture accessories in leather and hide, the company’s iconic materials. Thanks to its technical knowledge and industrial flexibility, Frag is able to develop made-to-measure projects, a characteristic that matches Mo.1950’s inclination to careful production. Attention to detail is ensured by the craftsmanship and manual processing of all Frag products.
Technical partner of the project is Carpet Edition, a company whose wide catalog offers creative and original furnishing solutions. The attention to detail translates into a complete service: from the design of the carpet to its maintenance and washing. In the new Mo.1950 concept store, Carpet Edition displays original carpets for every interior design type. The Hand Made collections, made exclusively by hand, can be customized in size and design, while the carpets of the Cut on Demand collection are made mechanically and designed to be cut and edged depending on individual needs.
