DDb 96

Never as in this tough period, it has been so necessary to nourish our senses with beauty, grace and art, and that’s why we open ddb#96 with this image. The Amiata freestanding bathtub, designed by Meneghello Paolelli Associati for British company Victoria + Albert, is the protagonist of the ‘Swan Lake’ ballet by Boston Ballet in the performance of graceful dancer Viktorina Kapitonova. The video, published on BBC One Facebook page, has had over 3,3 million views. A great example of how good design can give life to new and exciting artistic interpretations. The protagonists in this issue are, in addition to good design, Italian and foreign companies, designers and creativity, which have never stopped but have taken advantage of these difficult months to reflect, design, produce and try to meet new needs and requirements. Waiting to return to trade fairs and personally see and touch the latest creations, in addition to our usual columns dedicated to wellness, SPA, interior design and special projects in the ‘bathroom & more’ field, we are presenting a virtual gallery to testify to the quantity and above all the quality of the new products that top Italian bathroom brands have presented over these months, also taking advantage of the showcase represented by the recent Milano Design City.
