Because of the well-known pandemic disease that has stopped connections between countries and, therefore, many other activities, and the related limitations imposed or recommended to each citizen, business and tourism trips have been greatly reduced, causing an authentic breakdown in the industry.

Places of art and or workplaces, equipped with the best available amenities, suffer from this unexpected crisis, thinking now of the future: the present is too uncertain. After destroying many work projects that cannot be carried out, we need a rebirth based on new organizing ideas and with new architectural regeneration projects, enhancing otherwise unused or run down historic buildings; some examples are actually published in this DHD issue.

Rebirth means carrying out new strategic actions, which affect customers’ safety and well-being: bars, restaurants, spas and hotels, in addition to the quality of the offer and in terms of architecture, can promote their territory, becoming a very reliable proof.
